Sorry Roy but I think your post may need some correction. I have never seen any numbers from the TFC reports to suggest the demand is 50,000 tones. are you talking per annum? Demand for wood or oil? Personally I find the Cannacord information confusing and inconsistent, especially with volumes and pricing of the end products.
It's also confusing that the recent announcement suggests they have pre sold wood products and not oil. I was lead to believe the company needed as much wood to make oil for the acne market. Unless they are taking the oil out of the wood first and if so excuse my ignorance.
It would also be great to know what the value added wood products are as this is the first I have heard of these products. It would seem that this is a much easier product to supply if it's just wood from the plantation but it's hard to gauge what the product is worth as they only refer to oil prices. Does anyone know what the wood products fetch?
