to meet the needs of both the Company’s Hillside project on the Yorke Peninsula, South Australia and provide
for additional water capacity for regional development."
Seems pretty cut and dry to me.
As to your other concerns about coastal proximity I'll have to do some more research. I know that building tailings dams is possible on Groote Eyelandt (GEMCO) with water everywhere and an ocean within hundreds of metres. Have a look on Google Maps.
Always a bit suspicious when people with No Stock Held start appearing with all these fundamental concerns. It's good for discussion but only if it's based on facts and not downramping.
