I agree. This whole debate is getting a bit tedious. If an asset is too risky for someone to invest in the solution is not to switch to short term trading. The answer is to stay away entirely or place position size limits on your short term trades that are so limiting that you are no longer have so much anxiety about the risk that you stop mogging other people with it. But the decision to short term trade or long term trade isnt about the asset its about you as a trader, what are you good at?
