Motors, Chi-X and otherexchanges are usually still displayed in commsec using NXXT code.
That's why I suspect they are Volume matched trades that are missing. And by definition they should be missing because they don't appear in market depth and shouldn't be used for daily VWAP calculations. This is to allow large buyers or sellers to do business without unfairly causing volatility to sp. But it has a minimum order size. really only Lind could be doing it. In which case it hasn't been happening long.
But who knows. Maybe it is a simple Chi-X issue. I've just found that Volume matched transactions are often followed by mid point sales as happened yesterday.
Does anyone have the broker codes for the "missing" transactions yesterday? Connected to Novus in any way?
