market cap question

Hi All. Long time holder, new to HC and first post.

Sorry for the ignorance but I'm trying to work out the situation re total market cap when there is stock traded on 2 markets. As I understand ADRs, they represent an equivalent / proportional volume of stock sequestered in the home market of the stock. That suggests to me that the market cap of all PRAN ADRs is only a proportion of total Prana market cap. Likewise, i thought the PBT.ASX cap reflects just the PBT on the market on the ASX.

Yet both are showing similar mc of $313m (PRAN) & $335m (PBT) - presumably the difference is due only to currency.

So is the mc of each stock code taking into account the full amount of stock on both markets?

Sorry to take you back to Investing 101 but any help is appreciated.
