I am from South Africa and I decided never to buy any stock with assets in South Africa or Africa and it looks like a good decision. Africa is a dangerous place IMO and very risky place to do business.
Every now and then I will do a quick trade but nothing long term. The only coal stock I own is MNM and I am very excited about their future.
I am Watching NMR because with the new technologies available to ungrades low grade coal/brown coal I think NMR may be worth a punt at this price...still nervous about the resource being in Botswana but its been smashed..
