They have their ATM already approved. They dont need to list in the NYSE to get the funds they need.
going to take 6 months (atleast) for the NYSE listing, as long as people keep buying SPUT on the TSX, they have the ability to purchase 1b usd of additional pounds.
SPUT has stated its a close end trust with no ability for holders to redeem the physical asset.
Currently SPUT is in price discover mode, and have been purchasing in the spot market with 30 day settlements, they know its getting harder to buy within 30 day settlement, thats why they are on talks to purchase pounds off the kazaks in 2022. To me this is a sign that the short term spot market is really drying up, and Sprott is looking into next year and how they are going to continue to purchase pounds.
If they continue to buy on the short term market and spot price reaches $100 by end of year and they jave contracts with the kazaks to purchase today dor delivery in 12 months at $70-$80 then they are going to make bucket loads of cash for their investors.
