But in replying to some other individual I lost patience at 17m 42sec I've never heard a chairperson of an ASX company publicly moan that he cant satisfy shareholders as he is doing what they ask, and then the next group complain so he does what they ask, and then the next group complains so he does what they ask. You are not there to do what we ask and pander to small groups of shareholders, you are there for governance and keep management honest, agree the management strategy and then measure their execution. At the moment my take is they are a mess, pandering to everyone and getting nowhere. If I was them (which I am not) I would never have done the dividend, I would instead do a bigger buyback or just drill the hell out of the ground, hedge with collars etc to protect the downside if its such great land. I do have some time for Mark as he seems to have the ability to lead the conversation.
