It's not surprising that the sale of lepidolite concentrate has not be pursued earlier. LPD is a specialist alkali metals chemical company, not a mining company.
Higher revenue could be achieved by further processing the concentrate through the chemical plant, but further resource identification in the ML and EPL at Karibib means that some ore resource could be sold, generating earnings as the KEZAD plant is constructed and brought up to nameplate production levels.
