When the number of shares on issue changes as companies raise required capital to develop the business, or consolidates (as NEU did in November 2017), focusing on market capitalisation is infinitely more informative than the share price.
A number of posters have been making comments on the contemporary SP, as if it was directly relatable to an historic SP, when there was a different number of SOI.
It may be more useful to consider the MC when setting expectations about a company's worth. The chart below shows the monthly MC from January 2013 (just prior to my first investment). It shows that NEU is already valued considerable more than any previous peak.
