With the aluminium price going up and the Alumina FOB sitting at $315 a tonne, fair value should be closer to $2.
What I would like to know is how much the stubborn high price of Iron ore is playing on the Aluminium price moving forward.
With the long term average of Iron ore being approx. 80-90 a tonne, is it reasonable to say Aluminium prices in the order of 2200 to 2400 moving forward. If so AWC is a bargain right now!
