I was out by a week. Dow now having a peak at 15770. Recent economic data ( globally ) has been extremely weak. If you look at recent trading it's European indices which start the rot. Again someone took the big stick to German stocks last nite. Deutsche bank down 9.2% and Commerzbank down 8.6%. In fact , Deutsche bank s/p was over 21 euro a month ago , now it's under 14 that's a drop of close to 35%. Imagine what would happen to our market if the Big 4 were all down 8 or 9% in one day or down over 30% in a month. It would destroy most SMSF's and pension funds.
