Visa and Afterpay are not two in the same. Visa's bnpl is not based on a direct debit/ debit card repayment system but a credit card or credit repayment system which interest is paid by either merchant or consumer. The fund's principal and portfolio manager Chris Prunty also noted that "Millennials have a low take-up rate on credit cards,". So I don't see millennials ditching Afterpay to sign up for a CC that offers a bnpl anytime soon. Just my take on this, still holding since the few dips we had
