Spot on.
Emotional panic decisions (usually engineered by the Pro's) usually results in some people selling at the bottom and the Pro's buy cheap. When the share price goes up (the Pro's again spruik their view -- positive this time) and some people get excited and buy much higher.
That's the market at work I guess. But being a contrarian and having your own view is an advantage .
