Yes, thats right. They are not the same; we now have an extra 20 trillion in US sovereign debt, rising interest rates from a baseline of almost zero, inflation hidden in the form of asset bubbles, and an almost nil increase in worker productivity.
I know I sounds like a down ramping turd, just trying to keep a bit of perspective here. The global economy is rooted. Anyone who says that an aging debt ridden workforce can maintain GDP growth is smokin it.
If it wasnt for the debt none of us would be in this position. The debt changes EVERYTHING.
