Market declares NSW Old King Coal plant dead on its feet

For more than a decade the Coalition has forced Old King Coal down our throats. They told us renewables did not stack up against coal power.

Well now the Liberal Party's beloved MARKET has spoken, OK it's shouted from the hilltops!

Foreign-owned Origin Energy has just notified Australians that it's bringing forward its planned closure of its Old King Coal plant in the Hunter Valley from 2032 to 2025 due to its inability to compete with renewables.

Consistent with their normal modis operandi and behind the scenes, I suspect Morrison and his incredibly stupid Muppets will be working on a cunning plan to waste even more taxpayers' money by gifting Origin Energy $Billions if it keeps the plant open longer and they're re-elected.
