u know how I like to post extracts of ann. The key part of todays ann. is as follows:-

"MEO requests that the trading halt remain in place until it is in a position to make an announcement to the market regarding the details of the farm-in transaction"

IMO there is only one way to interpret this, it will be ann. of "the details of the farm-in" and cannot be anything else.
My take on this is that either the farminee Board approval has been already received or possibly MEO has been informed that the farminee has the numbers at the Board and the vote which is a formality will be held on Friday.
