I once had a friend who purely traded of market depth, no charts, no fundamentals, just watching the MD ticking.
He was a brilliant trader, making often something between 10K and 100K a night...
So, in my experience it doesn't matter what you do, as long as you become a master in it... or maybe as long as you have mastered yourself???
But then again, this dude had the biggest ego ever and he still was an extraordinary trader. :-)
