I reckon that if asked who is preferred PM even most liberals would say Rudd looks the goods over anything the libs have on offer.
Early days yet and he will cop it from both sides if he backs down on any promises however time is on his side and I hope they do see reason and transfer the funds from tax cuts into more productive areas.
I get the feeling that there is some substance to Kev. First thoughts only and I have been wrong before (I think...it was so long ago it is hard to remember).
