Saying the product sells itself was always questionable. The product until now (Boom2 release) has been essentially shipping the work overseas to reduce labour cost. That has been readily available through other companies in the industry for years so that was just lip service IMO.
The Boom2 announcement last November was coincidentally released when the pressure was on as the share price was at all time lows.
The announcement read:
“The first release of BOOM2 with selected clients is scheduled for the week commencing 27th November with a phased rollout occurring thereafter & on a client-by-client basis.
When released, BOOM2 will significantly reduce the amount of human involvement in the capture of client data and the preparation of compliant Statements of Advice. Over time the range of advice scenarios can and will be expanded to continue on this pathway."
The announcement pretty clearly states that upon release almost 12 months ago, it will reduce human involvement in the prep of SOA's. We now know that BOOM2 still does not have the SOA automation capability released yet.
They have questions to answer IMO. That's ignoring all the podcast talk and the rest too.
