Look at the media for SMR though. Shareholders and media very critical of the offer, articles covering how SMR are snubbing the offer.
UNV gets a takeover bid and two of the largest holders instantly fold accounting for 56.5% of the shares on issue. Why would anyone buy in at this point? For the 2.5 cents or the chance of a better offer. There have been no mumbling about a better offer yet, let's hope and wait for the independent report.
This stock has always been great from a fundamental position, but it's never really reached it's value due to a lack of liquidity, three companies holding most of the stock/power and it being in South Africa.
