Given the lack of financials, perhaps someone can give me a few words as to the value of the app.
I travel widely, and am a regular user of a modern phone, apps etc.

I am not sure how and where I would look at an app and watch and listen to a video whilst on the move. I also have a variety of existing web based services to help me choose. I use google maps a lot though, as I can do that whilst on a street corner, in a bar, stopped in a car, where I don't need to hear anything or give the screen 30 seconds of uninterrupted attention (and I am not a millennial. Good luck getting 30 seconds uninterrupted attention ever from them).
Is video the only advantage, and if so do people think there are enough people who favour video above the other methods, to make a go of it?

Example: The beer and burger bar in Richmond Vic. They have a Bigreviewtv listing and 2 vids. Not sure if they pay, I doubt it given the "Claim it" button on the bigreviewtv page.

Their burger bar website has links to facebook, instragram and zomato, but not to bigreviewtv. They are listed on google maps with lots of reviews, photos etc. I imagine this is all not costing the a monthly fee.

The big video is fine, for what it is. I would not look at it on my phone, as although I have a modern large phone, videos with sound aren't really accessible when at work, on the street or sitting at a bar, driving a car etc. All the sort of places I might make a decision about what next to eat.
So whilst I liked the video, even now knowing of Big, I am still unlikely to use it to find services or goods.
Given the availability of the other free options, why would a shop choose to pay big?

Also, the "social reviews" on the bigreviewtv website. Are they solely on bigreviewtv or have they been scraped from another service?

So I guess my question is, in such a crowded marketplace, where google and others provide lots for free, how many are going to pay regularly for this service? Enough to make this a unicorn?

Of course, clear financials and data on customer payments would probably help clear up any confusion on take up.
