The market sees little good coming from the up and coming, and likely drawn out, court case between WEC and Bayan.
Coal prices have fallen across the board and the upgrading coal plant at Tabang looks like being mothballed 'till 2014 and beyond.
The idea WEC will get $100m is highly unlikely and little will be given for profits that would have been obtained going forward.
An amount for legal costs and $10m to $20m or so to WEC is a more likely outcome.
Time for White Energy's board of directors to move on and take advantage of depressed values of coal assets in the market.
