Trade4profit,
Normally, i agree with alot of what you say.
Very informative.
In this instance, i am trying to work out which side of the fence you are on.
In one breath, you are saying that the sub-prime lending was never a problem. Then on the next, you say that it is real and that the US will fix this problem.
How may i ask?
How will the US fix this problem?
Start another War!!!
Print more money!!! Whilst hiding the M3 figures!!
Lower Interest rates to appease the public and thereby
increasing inflation!!
Circulate the "Amero" with the tri-lateral countries on board!!! US - Canada - Mexico.
Lets face it the US GDP largely depends on its cheap labour from its mexican illegal immigrants anyway.
This way, they can make it legal. LOL!!
Then of course there is the Yen Carry Trade.
I suppose thats not real either.
As you already know, since when has the US been prepared to fix their internal problems?
I would suggest, "Never".
They don't have a Leader with the "Balls" to do it.
Nor are they willing with the banking system in place.
Do you really think China are going to be bullied given the many Billions of US Dollars they have?
IMO, China holds the key. No longer the US and they know it.
I agree. It is a charade.
How can you be so sure that the US are 10 - 15 years away from a major crash?
I think you underestimate alot of people here Trade4profit.
Yes, i have read much about the banking and one world government system that is etching through our paths.
However, no one has given me a timeframe.
Your the first.
LOL!!
You did mention Volatility.
Well, from what i can see volatility and the lack of liquidity go hand in hand.
As a trader, i can see where your coming from with the daily gyrations of the market. Volatility is your friend.
However, anyone holding for any length of time would be frustrated, apart from Clark. LOL!!! He is counting his "Divvys" as we speak. LOL!!!
Trade4profit, i don't like being tard with the same brush as your analogy of the Doomsayers just because i have a different perspective of the market.
You may think everything is "Rosy" and Berger paints keep on keeping on.
Yet, there will come a time for the US to make its move and it won't be pleasant.
IMO, i would be foolish not too at least consider and keep an eye on whats happening globally and not discount that this could reach fever pitch sooner than we think.
Might be 6 months, a year, possibly 5 or 10 years.
Thats something that the charts or any commentary for that matter has not told me.
Apart from you. LOL!!!
I bought some shares during the volatility last week.
AGS - MAH. I saw them as bargain basements.
However, that does not mean that i think this correction for want of better word has bottomed out.
In fact, i think there will continue major swings.
Just hope i don't get left holding the parcel when the music stops.
Cheers markco2

The sub prime "mess" doesn't have to go away...because it was never a problem that needed to go away in the first place..
Sure it is real...an it will directly impact on market credit…and it will have about a half of one percent effect on the US GDP figure for all of ONE QUARTER...but in terms of wiping billions off the value of the world economy...it is nothing more than a Trojan horse.
Everyone has been conned...and like I said last week...the news would just switch from one side to the other depending on their "positions" at any given time until the current “volatility” passes…lol...it is so transparent it is embarrassing.
This is not over...not by a long shot, as they will likely milk it for all it's worth...but it is not real and there is no "collapse" on the horizon, China, India, and the South America's are not going away...Europe is gradually warming up again, the US will fix it's mess, god forbid maybe finally devalue their paper and actually address internal problems for once...but we are still some 10-15 years from the big crash.
Wait if you want...you will after all eventually be right...in the meantime however, everyone else will ride the markets to twice current levels while the doomsday brigade keep hiding in their basements...tin foil hats on heads!
