    I've been thinking about a crash too, however, the difference I see today is that before the other crashes there was an element of 'irrational exuberance' where the common person on the street was wanting to buy shares which made the prices go up creating a bubble.

    For instance, last year on the news the gold price spiked up and I was hearing about gold vending machines and common people talking about buying gold. That was a sign to me that the gold price was becoming over-valued and it did come down after that.

    At the moment, people seem generally neutral about the stock market and are treading with caution. I am however, worried about the world economic outlook.
