You certainly raise another couple of excellent points, at these levels for the AUD, foreign investors are certainly going to be very reluctant to send money this way, just adds another gust to the headwinds we find ourselves facing. The usual YE selling is in full force and effect now as well.
As you say, at the moment, it would take something pretty darned stunning to break through and create a counter trend. By July some of this stuff should start to shake out and hopefully decent announcements will then be able to get a little traction as we move forth towards the end of the year.
