Agree … what really happened to this thread. Where are the bear gurus here on a day like this? Seem to me all the bulls, in sheer frustration, have invaded here and smashed them all. Numbers and lines are thrown in all over the place. I often enjoyed visiting this thread for a dose of fear, which is essential to any bull trader, me think. Bit scary reading Bloomberg’s, Bear Stearns etc these days but you can get the real dose reading XJO bears.
I am of this immature view that the world, especially the third world, is gearing up and generating too much wealth in goods and services to brush off any recession. If the third world is moving away from it do you think that Uncle Sam will lie back and embrace it? With all that wealth lying below our crust and the rest of the world yearning for it, we got to be big DH’s to fold back and enter a recession.
Yet, there could be corrections or huge falls in equity markets but a bear market I doubt very much.
