    May I ask something....

Are you referring to the PROCESS by which the market opens...? OR advice on where the price might be?

You may already know, the PROCESS whereby market opens and closes is with a Dutch auction (I believe...? Pls correct me if wrong on that name... ).

If you want shares NO MATTER WHAT on Monday but may not be there around at the open, the answer is simple.... Put in your bid well above the closing price.... It doesn't matter if your bid is, say, 60c.... The buyers and sellers all match up in reverse order, so the LAST matching price will be the open price.... The higher your bid, the higher the order in which you are matched....

This probably explains it MUCH better than I can!

If you are asking for ADVICE on MARKET DIRECTION, that is something no one knows....!!!! So then it comes down to your mindset....

Are you wanting to make a quick turn...? In which case your buy-in price will probably want to be as low as possible.

Are you prepared to sit and wait...? In which case, your buy-in price will still probably want to be as low as possible to maximise returns..... But if you are prepared to hold the exact point of entry becomes less important.

My feeling would be... be SURE of your approach.... News will be disseminating this weekend and opinions will be being formed.... The open could well be very volatile. There's every chance the market will fall before it rises, and, of course, vice versa!!!! No one knows!!!! This volatility has a BIG impact on what you do relative to your mindset..... If you get shares at the open and the price DROPS.... What will you do....? If you want to get out, how will you do so...? Are you prepared to take that loss if you believe bigger things are coming?

So you will be able to get shares at the open no matter what IF you want them using the Dutch auction.... I guess what you do from there is up to you...?

    Whatever happens... Good luck!
