What a difference 24 hours makes. This time yesterday the sellers outnumbers the buyers to the same magnitude that greek debt outnumbers real taxpayers. As many suspected it looks like the selling was overdone probably due to stoplosses exagerating the downward momentum which in turn created more fear.

On open this morning the buy orders outnumbered sell orders almost 4 to 1 (by volume). Average buy order size was more than double the average sell order size also. Post open buy orders are still mroe than double the sell orders although average order size is now more balanced indicating that many big buy orders were rushed through in the open to try and pick up the oversold stock.

Yesterday was a crap day. In the absense of management making any obvious effort to correct the situation we all still feel pretty let down. My suspicion is that this will get better but its definately time to send management a very clear message about our expectations as was voiced by a number of people yesterday.
