Redbacka, agree with your sentiments regarding Saint Ben Bernanke.

People here must have forgotten the dark days of 2008 when world money flows froze, when banks would not even lend to each other.

The results would have been catastrophic beyond comprehension until central bankers intervened.

If you think that US unemployment at around 7% is bad...and Australia's at 5%...just ponder what it may have been otherwise.

It's not emerging countries and the terminally ill Greeks and Spaniards which pull the world out of a hole...but the mega economies like the USA.
