Because they've been paying out such high dividends. Their net yield is over 10%, gross yield is around 15%. Essentially they don't seem to have been too worried about growing the NTA or share price, its all about paying high dividends, which most of their shareholders seem to have valued above share price performance. Well, until recently that is. I note that the premium has taken a big slide over the last few years from a high of over 30% to almost zero now. So the share price has been dealt a double-whammy of falling NTA and the reduction of the discount.
