Thanks. There is probably no real hope that anything will happen with MBN but throwing the shares away at this stage just seems reckless to me.
This is what my accountant said: "Under the SIS Regulations, a member of the Super Fund can acquire or purchase an investment from the Fund but the acquisitions must be made at market value, the auditor will need a document to show that the purchase price is at market rate."
I'll ask the ATO but having dealt with them before I am not very confident.
