Our view - This was a solid result with a positive outlook. We hold Challenger in the MT Income portfolio and are pleased with the result and the market reaction. The company has a core leadership position in the annuities business which the current government has recognised as an integral part of the retirement and superannuation industry. There is no reason to change our position and will continue to hold. New products and new distribution challenges will continue to drive growth.
Does anyone know of any other reactions both good or bad?
