I have to say I have now reached the stage where I REALLY don't care what people say here any more. It is impossible to keep some people happy. How about you try this
1. Do you think this company is going to do well in the next few years
No - Get out
Yes - What does it matter what tomorrows share price is
2. Are you willing to wait a few years to make money (are you an investor)
No - Get out, people bigger than you are playing with the price
Yes - What does it matter what tomorrows share price is
3. Do you need to make buckets of money tomorrow (are you a trader)
No - What does it matter what tomorrows share price is
Yes - Get out, see 2
4. Have you researched this company and the business they are in
No - Seriously ?
Yes - You should feel comfortable with your investment
5. Are you in senior management in this company
No - you are not stressed and in no business will you know the details of all deals, just the direction of the business and how it is going
Yes - Thank you, keep it up
6. Are you peed off that the company keeps making announcements about deals and not including details about how many dollars they are charging the new customer
No - You obviously see the bigger picture and appreciate the information
Yes - Ok, we would all like to see that we are making an additional $XX million this year, but "oh the drama" if we miss that target.
7. Are you happy with the management of the company and the quality of the people running this show?
Yes - Yup, same here
No - Why the hell are you invested, bail now, never put money in a company you don't trust the management in
8. Do you believe the management are all lying bastards?
Yes - See 7.
No - Be comfortable. They have given a game plan (2015, build customers, 2016, build revenue, 2017, keep going, 20xx, be bought out and make lots of money), they have given you base revenue guidelines for 2016, they are kept you informed of what they are doing, they have acknowledged mistakes and worked on improving them.
9. Are you really pissy that the talk to some people more than you ?
No - Nup, nor me, but really appreciate those people passing on info. Have never seen anything from management that could be considered insider info)
Yes - Get off your ar$e and get in contact with them, but don't bug them with trivial crap. From what i have seen if you contact them with sensible, balanced questions (or god forgive, congratulations) they will respond and you will build a rapport.
