You haven't missed the boat DJ. I'd just buy on any technical weakness. This is where technical analysis is gold.
Eg IPL's downside target is around 81.50 but support always comes when the fundamentals for a sector are robust. Subprime means there always be nervous nellies in any stock on those big down days.
You could look at the North American fertilizer producers - Potash Corp., Agrium, Mosaic but they've run even harder over there. Monsanto, John Deere all run hard as well in the US.
