Nuclear subs are just a racket for US Military Contractors. It will never be delivered on time. It will have quality issues. It will cost more than they expected.

It will mostly be operated by Americans either as subcontractors or expats in Australian army. That's if Australia actually get to operate them. Or it could be a taxi driven by USA with Australian ramy support staff. Under the guise of joint military drills.

Both ideas are crap. We have an abundance of solar and wind energy which we have a lot of expertise in building and not very complex to operate and lot lower risk.

Nuclear creates issues we don't need nor solved. Where do we dump all the waste? Currently our toy in Lucas Heights exports its waste to France.

Nuclear power plants are very safe have one built in your suburb and ask everyone on your street would they like one. Then when you can do this come back and tell us about your success.
