Many years ago I worked as a Medical Detailer with a large English Pharmaceutical Company calling on Medical Specialists with all of the company offerings.Great job, but can be difficult to see Specialists with the time demands they have,and very hard to get them to change their prescribing habits to a new product.
Specialists want facts, facts and then more facts and they are slow decision makers, they prefer (rightly) the tried and true and usually move to something new slowly and only with proper study. This is what makes these figures Acrux announced yesterday so amazing.
Firstly it shows how good Eli Lilly's team is in spreading the news(no mean feat)but even more so, how good the product Axiron is, these are figures in my opinion that Pharmaceutical companies dream of; well done to Acrux and Eli Lilly, however the recent market update is so subdued many shareholders may not be aware of the market breakthrough we are witnessing!!
