A few more recent developments coming out of New York and California. Apologies if the links have already been made but I think the news is very significant. Firstly, from San Mateo Daily Journal, US Sen. Mark Leno announced changes to labelling laws for juvenile clothing and products and whether they contain toxic fire retardants -
Secondly, was everyone aware that last Tuesday senators introduced legislation on that would overhaul U.S. chemical regulations entirely? This from the Huffington Post out of New York - (once again apologies if already quoted) -
And as a follow up to that amendment and what I find intriguing is that the same chemical companies that will be adversely affected are backing the new Bill. It makes me wonder what they're playing at and this article makes reference to that cynicism also. Is it because they are already aligned with Alexium perhaps?
