Hi every one, the story may be a little clearer to every one now regarding Destra’s strategy on BYI – Marina’s bid has now failed and they own 19.99% only of BYI and my understanding on these takeovers is that they can not rebid for 4 months from now!
That gives Destra more time with out having to rush things.
In the media reports this morning they talk about Destra’s failure to raise capital when they were in a trading holt for 2 days – lets not forget Monday was one of the worst fails on the market in ten years and Tuesday not much better! And with the Centro issue, even the Rolls Royce of companies would have struggled to raise capital!
We’ll now have to wait till next year to see Destra’s next move!
