"BG seems happy with DLS shale gas potential"

Two things wrong with that deal though:
1) it involves exploration for shale gas and is therefore subject to not only the usual technical issues but also to massive political issues
2) it also involves DLS who retain significant control until the work programme is completed

I can't see BG NOT being interested in ESG depsite (and I'd almost say because of) the DLS JV
