The negativism of just about every thread on Arrium defies belief, ecxept that we must be at or near the bottom. Let's say they write down the company's assets by 50%, that leaves $3.5b of assets with $1b of net debt, big deal, still 80c/share of assets!!

Me thinks there are way too many people protesting too much, yelling shorts, shorting the end is nigh, all because they are short. The simple fact is that short interest is minor compared to many companies, the assets are high compared to many companies, and the debt is now manageable, thanks to the underwritten cap raise.

There has been a great reduction of share price, but it now looks over. The low $Aus must be helping, and even a small rise in IO prices will see a fast rebound to the high 20's at the minimum.
