IMO- Virtualisation must be a generic term meaning storing and retrieving content from the cloud.
Linius has the only(according to Linius) technology that opens the video file and creates a virtual file(Vstub), which enables all sorts of previously impossible functions.
Are we comparing apples with apples?
Linius technology and the company go back a long way and that technology has been tested and improved over that time.

A Tier 1 company like AT&T would extensively test new technology.
Interesting why they were talking to Goldman Sacks with such enthusiasm.
