Mate, I hear you.
Just hang in there a little longer until the J&J ATI announcement. This stock so clearly spikes on announcements and frustratingly wanes in between. It ebbed from that May CelGro Nerve 67 cents spike until the capital raising at 40 cents. It settled into trading around there until the fuller Nerve results spike to 65 and resulting Insto' interest, until the latest capital raising. Some bigger unhappy retail investors clearly sold down a little thereafter, but it will likely just trade around this 50 cents CR mark until the next big announcement, just as it did before around the previous 40 cents CR mark. Insto's wanted in at 50 and it won't fall much from there (they will buy-in more, but will similarly sell small clips higher in the short-term).
We are due a J&J ATI announcement shortly, which will predictably spike the price again and this time we have no risk of any capital raising expectations dampening the ardour thereafter. I can only say again, look at the jump in Capricor stock when a partnership was announced with J&J in stem cell research - it jumped from $30 to over $110!
A spike towards $1 and perhaps more sensible trading around 70-80 cents might not an unreasonable estimate on past pricing behaviour. But more importantly Capricor's J&J partnership even back in 2013 featured a $12.5 million payment upfront and up to $325 million in milestone payments. We know OCC has two products/procedures that have been clinically proven to work. I think that such a partnership would insure its future commercial success (its very good balance sheet can fund CelGro expansion) and more importantly for me, millions of people world wide would finally begin to become conversant with OCC's ATI procedure. It is brilliant in its biology and oh so simple application to patients. A biopsy, a wait and an injection! Versus often invasive surgical intervention, months of pain, weakness and often eventual failure. It irks me that so many Australians are still having painful surgeries with poor outcomes for ailments that could be so simply treated via ATI, through pure ignorance and even self-interest on the part of some medical practitioners. Make no mistake, ATI is an industry 'disrupter' in the best vein of bio-tech.
OCC has ATI patents in the USA, Canada, EU, Australia, New Zealand, China, Singapore and Hong Kong. It already has successful published tennis elbow clinical data. It will soon have rotator-cuff data and possibly a few very good stories on Australian sports-stars (it has one already). Whilst other stem cell players operate on the margins or in trials, OCC has a TGA licensed culturing facility, has provided this treatment for years to over 500+ patients and is set up for quick transition to commercial application.
(And don't worry about the hair. Researchers are closing in on stem-cell treatment there too. You can get some with your eventual profits).
