Ahh Worthind, it is nice to have you back in the game here at HC again after your hiatus. As it happens, I do notice a few things here and there... chief amongst them that the directors have been saying for years they can't buy any shares because of commercial in confidence dealings, yet now apparently they've bought up big and you're arguing large marketing agreements are about to come through. Well, maybe they will, but it would be an odd coincidence.
And the thing that makes me think that the US and EU partners won't come with buckets of cash now is that they haven't previously wanted to fund trials previously so why start now. Why wouldn't they just make the risk free play of saying, Yes, we;ll market the drug, but we're not putting a single dollar up front until you guys get it approved. Didn't AVX just tell us they've looked high and low and far and wide for potential sources of funding and found there were absolutely none? Hence the coal mine? Do you think they would have thought 'I've got it - coal!!', before they thought of asking marketing companies like these whether they wanted to come on board to fund trials?
Not saying none of what you are saying can't happen, but it would represent a big shift from what has been happening in past few years, what the directors told us as recently as a few weeks ago, and the fact the directors thought they had no conflict in buying $125K of shares.
If you hadn't noticed, I made it clear in the earlier post that there's little reason to imagine the SP should fall anytime soon, so i'm not arguing that there's bad new brewing in either SP or announcements. But it would strike me as odd for the reasons outline above if we had cash falling from the sky to pay for this trial, when it seemed our only option was to dig it from the ground. We'll soon see I guess.
