Possibly, or maybe they are more focused on rounding up a pile of large cash strong investors mates to pick up their old company for less than replace cost, so now they are a debt free company, in which they will delist from the asx, flood the market with even more cheap lithium, whilst quietly buying into pls under their different investment companies, staying just outside the top 20 to fly under the radar. They will continue to keep driving lithium prices lower by selling at a cheap, putting more and more pressure onto another lithium producer, until they too are not able to produce without making a loss. Then, they will start dumping their shares on PLS, in nice conveniently timed manner, as to hold the stock price down, and eventually take both companies for a song.
After the sale, they will start putting pressure back on the lithium buyers, pushing up the prices, and sit back and watch the money roll in.
Probably will only take 3 to 5 years to hold both companies.
Oh yeah, and they will claim the loss they made on AJM, which is just more money taken away from mum and dads.
The rich usually win.
What KB has done, could very much destroy both companies normal share holders, he has possibly played right into the hands of the fat cats.
If the gamble pays off for pls, kb has done well for that company whilst burning all ajm investors, but if he doesn't succeed, he could have really opened up a can of hurt for that company to. It won't affect him though, it didn't when he sunk atlas with his rapid expansion dreams.
