That chart has fascinated me for years.
The second top is slightly above the first and the second low is slightly below the first, so it's also an expanding top pattern of epic proportions, also pointing down.
The target, of course, is oblivion which might be why very few take it seriously as that can't be possible but it's on the brink again as the latest empire collapses, it's mass and momentum in reverse.
