I don't like flash claims without being backed up so I dug up the links. The 34% I mentioned was based on adding up the figures in the spread sheet and not what is reported. Real world data!
If you do want to look for the trimmed mean calculations, it is in a spreadsheet directly off the Dallas FED site.
