I think you know well enough that i wasnt saying that the broker is solely responsible for sp performance was merely proffering my opinion that as house broker it is their job to support and talk up the stock
Recent sell off was due to a change in mandate by superfund and that is nobodies fault
Yes the buck has to stop somewhere and that somewhere is the board ultimately
I agree that the rot probably started with ARW (that is ancient history now), but in the last 12-18 months we have seen the GFC and an unprecedented slide in commodity prices and as a result AMU sp is bruised and battered like so many other stocks. SP Was nearly double up from lows and looking stronger until recent sell off. All these factors above are completely out of managements hands.
In the interim AMU has continued to manage the business well imo and taken a pretty hard look at itself
As you rightly point out all the usual fundamental metrics of the company are remarkably solid surely that solid performance under the most trying of circumstances must be credited to management
