yes traders tried to get away with trading the rice price to extreme highs. rice disappeared off asian supermarket shelves within days and many starved to death. the criminally insane market traders realised they would nt get away with this crime of sending rice too high so they backed off and havent done the same to the rice price since. these markets are out of control unfortunately and the end result may mean we cant day trade as we are now. some of the regulations on the table in europe will increase the price of trading forex by 18 times i have heard.
