For someone in his line of work he would have to be the most entertaining and always a good read especially since the rest of them are as dull as ditchwater but was left puzzled back in 2005 when he was advising people to consolidate and take profits. It seemed as though he didn't recognise the impending boom and worse he could not see the reasons for it.
I quickly came to the conclusion that MP's real strength was in his ability to convey amusing anecdotes and always made time to read his articles and listen to his quick witted banter on the tele. The situation is not disimilar to when favourity celebrities are handing out political advice...you don't really take what they say seriously but you bite your tongue because you enjoy their movies, sporting ability etc etc.
As far as his latest predictions go I wouldn't be too concerned... there wasn't too many out there forecasting this tsunami.
